Bio Fertilizer

Bio-fertilizers are preparations containing live
or latent cells of efficient strains of nitrogen fixing or potash and phosphorus
mobilising micro-organisms to augment the availability of nutrients that can be
easily assimilated by plants. These beneficial bacteria and fungi are
incorporated aseptically in the sterile carrier materials.
Nifa-Green (Azospirillum)

Nifa
Green (Azospirillum) is a highly efficient species of non-symbiotic bacteria
capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen and making it available to the plant.
Azospirillum is found in loose association with roots, and can fix Nitrogen even
under microaerophyllic conditions. Nifa Green is formulated as wettable
powder containing a minimum 10 8 viable Azospirillum spores per gram
of carrier material.
This formulation can be used
in all non-leguminous crops like rice, millets, cotton, wheat, maize and
plantation crops. Nifa Green when inoculated at the rate of 600g/ha in nursery
and 4kg/ha in the main field contributes on an average 20-30 kgs Nitrogen/ha.
Nifa Green can be applied
as seed treatment, nursery treatment, soil application and pit treatment. Best
results are obtained by applying organic manure followed by the application of
Nifa Green. Nifa Green can be applied at the rate of 5kgs/ha for soil
application. This product has shelf life of one year but for hundred percent
population growth within 15 days, we recommend that the product be used before 6
months from the date of manufacturing.
Azoto Green (Azotobacter)

Azoto Green (Azotobacter) are
nitrogen fixing beneficial bacteria that make non symbiotic association with
root system of crop plants. Azoto Green can be used for nitrogen economy in the
cultivation of many upland crops such as vegetables, cereals, sugarcane,
plantation and orchard crops.
Azoto Green is formulated
as wettable powder containing a minimum of 108 viable Azotobacter
spores per gram of carrier material. Azoto Green can be applied as seed
treatment, nursery treatment, soil application and pit treatment. Best results
are obtained by applying organic manure followed by the application of Azoto
Green. This product has shelf life of one year but for hundred percent
population growth within 15 days, we recommend that the product be used before 6
months from the date of manufacturing.
Azoto
Green can be applied at the rate of 5kgs/ha for soil application. Best results
are obtained while applying organic manure followed by application of Azoto
Green.
Nifri Green (Rhizobium)

Nifri Green (Rhizobium) is a
nitrogen-fixing bacterium living in symbiotic association with root nodules of
many leguminous crops. These bacteria fix atmospheric nitrogen for the benefit
of the plant in which they live. Crops like soybeans, peas, ground nut, green
peas, black gram, Bengal gram, Lucerne, cow pea etc. are benefited by their
biological nitrogen fixation process. A minimum of 50kg N/ha/season is fixed and
mineralisation of other nutrients are enhanced by this efficient species of
symbiotic bacteria. The product is formulated as wettable powder containing 10 8
viable Rhizobium spores per gram of carrier material. This product effectively
nodulates after application ensuring early fixation of nitrogen. This bacterium
can be applied at the rate of 2kg/acre of seed as seed treatment with any
sticking medium.
Phosba Green (Phosphobacteria)

Phosba Green (Phosphobacteria)
is a highly efficient species of bacteria capable of releasing fixed and
unavailable phosphorus in the soil by secreting highly beneficial enzymes. .
This bacterium can be used for plantation crops like coffee, rubber, tea,
cardamom, spices, horticultural crops and other field crops for phosphorus
nutrition. This heterotrophic bacterium solubilise insoluble inorganic
Phosphorus by the production of organic acids like citric, fumaric, malic and
other organic acids. While organic phosphorus is mineralized through production
of enzymes like phosphatases. The product is formulated as wettable powder
containing a minimum of 10 8 viable Phosphobacter spores per gram of carrier
material Inoculation of 2kgs Phosphobacter per acre as soil application helps in
saving 15-20% chemical Phosphorus fertilizer. Phosphobacter also causes general
improvement in plant growth and mineral uptake as it produces plant growth
regulators like indole acetic acid (IAA), gibberellins (GA) and cytokinins. This
bacterium can be applied at the rate of 10gms/kg of seed or 10-15kgs/ten
thousand seedlings or 5 kg/acre for field crops.
